On arrival into Phuket International Airport, collect you bags and make your way to the arrivals hall, where you will be met by one of our representatives, who will assist you with your pre-booked transfer to your chosen hotel.

Once you are settled in to your hotel you can begin a combination of relaxing and exploring Thailand’s largest island.

With a week in Phuket, there will plenty of time to properly experoence the island, from lazy beach days to day trips further afield. Patong is the obvious choice for an evening out, with its restaurants, bars and lively night markets, while Kata and Karon offer a quieter pace if you’d rather stick closer to the sand,

• Spend a day at the beach, swimming and relaxing between the sunbeds and the sea
• Take a speedboat day tour to the Phi Phi Islands, stopping at Maya Bay, snorkelling off Monkey Beach and relaxing on Bamboo Beach or Rang Yai Island
• Cruise around Phang Nga Bay, taking in Hong Island’s hidden lagoon, the James Bond Islands and the stilted sea gypsy village of Koh Panyi
• Visit the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary, an ethical, no-riding home for rescued elephants, with a vegetarian Thai lunch included
• Head into Old Phuket Town to explore its Sino-Portuguese shophouses, street art and cafés
• Try watersports or book a spa treatment through your hotel

Today you will say goodbye to Phuket and take the short flight to the island of Koh Samui off the Gulf Coast or Thailand. You will collected from your hotel and transported to Phuket International Airport in time to check-in for your flight.

On arrival in Koh Samui, you will collect your bags and make your way to the arrivals hall where you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel on Koh Samui.

Koh Samui has a slower rhythm than Phuket, and it’s easy to see why so many visitors end up extending their stay. Chaweng and Lamai are the main beaches, with Chaweng busier and better for nightlife, and Lamai a little more low-key.

You may also like to choose from some of the following activities:

• Relax on Chaweng or Lamai beach, or seek out a quieter stretch of sand
• Take a long-tail boat to Coral Island (Koh Tan) for snorkelling over its reefs, then continue on to Koh Madsum for swimming, finishing with lunch at a beachside restaurant
• Join a half day island tour taking in Lamai’s “Grandma and Grandpa Rocks”, the Guan Yu shrine, Bophut Fisherman’s Village and the Big Buddha temple
• Spend a full day at Ang Thong National Marine Park, exploring its 42 islands, lagoons and caves, with time for snorkelling, swimming and kayaking
• Visit the Samui Elephant Sanctuary, an ethical experience that includes feeding the elephants and watching them socialise at their watering hole
• Take a half day trip to Na Muang waterfalls in the island’s forested interior

This morning it will be time to say goodbye to Koh Samui. You may be returning home, or continuing your holiday to Bangkok, or onwards to experience Elephant Hills. Whatever your next destination, you and your bags will be transferred from your hotel back to Koh Samui International Airport in time for your flight.
