Day 1 to 6 – Hua Hin

On arrival into Bangkok, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred two hours south…

On arrival into Bangkok, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred two hours south to the seaside town of Hua Hin. After checking into your chosen Hua Hin hotel for the following six nights, you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure.

The Gulf of Siam has long silver sand beaches and is popular with locals and international visitors alike. During your stay, enjoy swimming in the gentle waters, take a stroll along the stretching sands or venture along walking trails in the forest covered mountains. For those feeling adventurous, you can enjoy water sports or go horse riding along the beach.

You might like to take a trip to the Hua Hin Night Market in the town centre, packed with souvenirs and street food or perhaps visit the summer palace for the Thai royal family. From Hua Hin you can also visit Wat Khao Takiap Temple for striking views.

If you would like to visit Phuket, Koh Samui or another beach resort instead of Hua Hin, just let you Travel Consultant know.

Feeling refreshed after your beach stay, this morning you’ll head for the bright lights of Bangkok. Sit back and relax as your driver transfers you north to the city and your chosen Bangkok hotel for the following three nights.

During your stay, make sure you visit Bangkok’s Grand Palace, once a royal residence and home to the famous Emerald Buddha Temple. You will be amazed at the vibrant colours and glittering gold of these fabulous buildings. On a city tour, you can also visit the solid gold buddha at Wat Traimit, admire the 46 metre long Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and marvel at Wat Benjamaborpit, also known as the ‘Marble Temple’.

You can also take day trips further out of the city. You may like to visit the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market to shop alongside locals, learn about the history of the Second World War on a trip to the ‘Bridge over the River Kwai‘, or visit the UNESCO-listed city of Ayutthaya, the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom.
