Arrive into Southern Vietnam’s capital, where you will be greet and transferred to your chosen Ho Chi Minh City hotel for the following three nights. Formerly known as Saigon, ‘must-see’s’ include Ben Thanh Market, the Opera House, the Hotel de Ville, and the Saigon River. Don’t miss the fantastic Notre Dame Cathedral or a visit to Chinatown.
We have included a day tour to the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network built during the Vietnam War. Marvel at the ingenuity of secret trapdoors and underground living areas. The more adventurous may explore the deeper tunnels or those preferring to remain above ground can view the excavated areas.

Day 4 & 5 – Hue
Take a short flight today to the historic former capital of Hue. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your chosen Hue hotel for the next two nights. You can spend your days here sightseeing in the town, the ancient city and the famous Perfume River.

Day 6 to 9 – Da Nang & Hoi An
This morning travel over the spectacular Hai Van Pass to Da Nang where you will find one of Asia’s most spectacular beaches. Your driver will drop you off at your chosen Da Nang or Hoi An beachfront hotel. This is a great opportunity for a little rest and relaxation.
Mix your time between sightseeing and relaxation as the beaches here are famous for their enormous stretch of golden sand and calm emerald sea. Make trips to the nearby Marble Mountains or the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An. No cars are allowed to pass through Hoi An, making it an excellent place to wander around and soak up the riverside ambience.

Day 10 & 11 – Hanoi
Say goodbye to the beautiful beach and head north on a short flight to Hanoi. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your chosen Hanoi hotel for the following two night. With central locations, you’ll have easy access to all the main sights and sounds of the capital city.
Enjoy the tree lined streets and the café culture brought to Vietnam by the French. Take a wander through the fascinating old town where you will find streets named after the particular items you will find there, look out for Sugar Street, Paper Street and Tin Street to name but a few.

Day 12 – Halong Bay
Enjoy breakfast before heading off on a Halong Bay overnight cruise where you will spend the evening on a traditional Chinese junk boat. During your cruise you will be able to see the huge limestone rocks which rise up out of the water and give the bay such an unusual appearance. You’ll have time to swim, snorkel or kayak in the tranquil waters before heading back to the boat for sunset and dinner.

Day 13 – Halong Bay & Hanoi
Wake up early to see the sun rise and listen to the sounds of the waves gently lapping. The area is quite mystical in the early mornings as the rocks are often topped by mist, and the early start is well worth it. There will be time for swimming or kayaking this morning before brunch and your return to Halong City where you disembark and travel back to you Hanoi hotel for a final night.

Day 14 – Farewell
Bid a fond farewell to Vietnam today, as you are driven to Hanoi Airport for your flight home, on which you can start planning your next South East Asia adventure…
