This morning, transfer to Tuan Chau Marina, enjoying the scenery of the Red River Delta along the way. Relax in the reception lounge, before taking a tender boat to your overnight home, Nostalgia. lunch is served whilst you begin your exciting cruise into Lan Ha Bay.
Lan Ha Bay lies to the south west of its famous neighbour Halong Bay, and is dominated by Cat Ba Island. You will find the same beautiful scenery here with hundreds of karst limestone islands jutting out of the sea, but with fewer boats, ensuring relative peace and quiet.
Sail to Dark and Bright Caves to enjoy some Kayaking and experience the iconic scenery close up. Alternatively if weather conditions permit, Three Peaches Islet will be visited which has an equally idyllic setting for kayaking or unwinding on the sandy shore.
Back on Nostalgia, cruise along the eastern edge of Cat Ba Island to the Tra Bau area to anchor for the night. You may like to participate in a cooking demonstration and happy hour whilst watching the sunset over the bay. Then its time for a delicious dinner which will include a traditional tea ceremony afterwards. Finish the evening on the sundeck with a few drinks or try your luck at squid fishing.
Nostalgia boat offers an intimate experience with just 11 cabins, all featuring a private balcony and a luxury Vietnamese style. Facilities include a sundeck with a heated jacuzzi pool, a spa and dining room.

Day 2 – Lan Ha Bay
If you are an early riser you may like to take part in an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck, before a light breakfast is served.
Sailing back to port, enjoy further stunning scenery before making a stop on Cat Ba island. Changing mode of transport, take a short road trip by minibus to Trung Trang Cave. Located within the national park and surrounded by Kim Giao forest, the cave runs 300 metres through the mountain and has many mysterious stalactites.
Back on board, sail the final stretch to Tuan Chau Marina whilst you enjoy brunch in the restaurant, before disembarking for the road journey back to Hanoi.
