Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City & Cu Chi Tunnels
Today you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Discover the network of underground tunnels while learning about their role in the Vietnam War. Later, enjoy a guided walking tour of Ho Chi Minh City where you will see Dong Khoi Street, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace, and Ben Thanh Market.

Day 3 – Mekong Delta
Venture to the Mekong Delta and spend the day exploring the many palm fringed canals, local temples and markets by boat. Enjoy a delicious lunch made from locally harvested produce. Stop by Cao Dai Temple with its spectacular architecture.

Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An
Fly to Danang, and then enjoy a scenic drive to Hoi An. Take a walking tour to discover this charming and peaceful town. The tour starts at the Museum of Folk Culture before you walk around the small market. Visit the Chinese Assembly Hall of the Fujien Chinese community, the river bank with its old houses transformed into decorated shops with colourful lanterns and the famous Japanese covered bridge. Finish the tour with the visit of a historic old house.

Day 5 – Hoi An
Visit a sleepy corner of Hoi An and see the amazing artworks covering the walls, streets and alleyways. Visit Thanh Dong Organic Farm, to learn traditional farming methods adopted by this village. Chat with the local farmers and take part in the farming activities.
This morning visit Vong Nhi village on a cycling tour. On our way, we will see stunning landscapes of the peaceful countryside. The day continues at Thanh Dong organic farm where we will take a short stroll around the vegetable gardens and join the farmers in some gardening activities. Afterwards we will take a basket boat ride along the Do River to the Field Restaurant. Before getting back to the hotel, enjoy a cooking class and a Vietnamese family style lunch.

Day 6 – Hoi An to Hanoi
Fly from Danang to Hanoi and check in to your hotel. Afterwards embark on a city tour of Hanoi to discover the city’s must-visit sites including the Ho Chi Minh complex and infamous Hoa Lo Prison, also known as the “Hanoi Hilton.” Pay a visit to the Temple of Literature, before heading to inside of the Opera House and finish the day with a coffee stop.

Day 7 – Halong Bay
Drive past scenes of traditional rural life from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. Board a well-appointed junk boat, enjoy a delicious lunch and begin cruising among the 3,000 islands which rise from the sea. In the evening, retreat to your private cabin, or relax on the main deck or at the bar.

Day 8 – Halong Bay & Hanoi
Take part in a sunrise Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck before enjoying brunch on board. Upon arrival back in port, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Take a walking tour to visit the old quarter and a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake before enjoying an evening dinner.

Day 9 – Hanoi to Luang Prabang
Fly to Luang Prabang and settle into your hotel. Spend the afternoon on a guided tour through the city with a visit to Wat Xieng Thong, “The Temple of the Golden City” considered the finest in all of Laos. Hike up to the Phou Si Mountain for a breathtaking view of the entire city. Take part in a traditional Baci ceremony and hop on a tuk-tuk for your dinner at Bamboo Experience.

Day 10 – Luang Prabang
After breakfast enjoy a leisurely tour around the old quarters of Luang Prabang starting with the Morning Market, full of fresh produce and exotic delicacies from small provincial village farms. Visit the Wat Mai and the National Museum once home to the Laotian Royal Family. Embark on a scenic boat ride along the Mekong River, to the Tam Ting Cave (cave of thousand Buddhas) and have a picnic lunch. Cruise to the village of Ban Xang Khong where Saa paper is made from the bark of Mulberry trees. Play the local favourite game of petanque. Finish with sunset drinks.

Day 11 – Kuang Si Waterfalls & Siem Reap
Visit the multi-tiered turquoise-coloured Kuang Si Waterfalls and then transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12 – Temples of Angkor
Start early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Angkor Wat temple, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Reach the southern gate of Angkor Thom, the “Great City” and marvel at the hundreds of imposing 23m (75 foot) high stone faces of Bayon. Featured in the ‘Tomb Raider’ movie, visit Ta Prohm known for its unforgettable trees with thick roots that entangle the walls.

Day 13 – Temples of Angkor
Visit Beong Mealea Temple, a 12th-century Buddhist sanctuary built from perfectly-squared sandstone blocks, still partly buried under vegetation. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before an afternoon visit of Kampong Pluk, an isolated community of three villages built on stilts. These scenic villages are flooded from August to February. You will take the small boat through the flooded mangrove forests fostering a variety of wildlife. Go back in time with Khmer ancient culture in a spectacular performance while you enjoy the finest cuisine in town.
