This overnight adventure unveils the icons of Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta complete with a night under the stars. Travel in an air-conditioned four wheel drive with no more than 18 other passengers and absorb the fascinating information of the area and its people provided by your experienced guides.
Participate in a guided walk at Uluru and Kata Tjuta, experience the Uluru sunset and sunrise away from the crowds, and spend the night in our private campsite with your choice of swag or comfortable permanent tent with beds and dinner cooked over the fire.

Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Ayers Rock
Your tour begins directly from Ayers Rock Airport where you will be collected before travelling the short distance to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring this extraordinary monolith starting with an interpretive walk led by your guide, and hearing of the Aboriginal law and religion (Tjukurpa). You will also learn about the art and culture of the local custodians, the Anangu people, and visit the acclaimed Cultural Centre where you can explore the displays and learn of the flora and fauna unique to this area.
Experience the famous changing colours of Uluru at sunset complete with sparkling wine and nibbles and plenty of photo opportunities. This is a great time to kick back and contemplate the vastness of the desert while getting to know your fellow travellers.
Afterwards settle in at our private camp, complete with our signature Endless Star dining experience before retiring to your swag under the amazing night sky or to your comfortable safari tent complete with beds.

Day 2 - Ayers Rock
Rising early, take a short walk to a lookout close to your campsite to view sunrise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta without the hustle and bustle of the public viewing area.
After breakfast travel to Kata Tjuta, a sacred area for the local Anangu people meaning ‘many head’s. Hike through the magnificent “Valley of the Winds”, making your way through the soaring domes and creek beds to be rewarded with incredible views.
We return you to Ayers Rock Airport with abundant memories of this special place.

All prices are per person, and include meals shown. Accommodation is based on permanent tents with twin bedding, linen, towel and pillow. Park fees payable locally. Luggage should be restricted to 10kg in a soft bag or backpack plus a day pack. Seasonal supplements may apply. Call Freedom Destinations to confirm departure dates and availability.
