Locations & One Way Hire
This hire car is available from all major cities and many rural locations across Australia. Free one way hire is available in some areas, with a charge applying in others – please ask your FREEDOM Consultant for details.
Inclusions and Optional Extras
For peace of mind, the following are included in your intermediate car hire:
- Mechanical breakdown assistance
- Standard insurance, including third party liability
- Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
- Unlimited kilometres (excluding some remote areas)
- All taxes on pre-paid items
The following optional extras can be requested before you travel:
- Child safety seats
- Excess reduction
- Enhanced roadside assistance, which covers such as lost keys or running out of fuel.
Avis will allow one additional driver free of charge. Any nominated drivers in addition to this will be charged $5.50 per driver.
All one way hires in the Northern Territory will incur a fee of $550 paid locally.
