All you need to know about visiting Perth and attending the 2029/30 Ashes Test Match.
What stadium is hosting the Ashes Test in Perth?
In a change to recent history, Perth in Western Australia hosted the first test of the 2025/26 Ashes Series between Australia and England. In another change with tradition, the Perth Stadium hosted the Test Match, replacing the older WACA stadium.
The Perth Stadium (known as the Optus Stadium for other events) is a purpose built multi-sport stadium with an all-seater capacity 60,000. A big increase from the 15,000 capacity WACA. The Perth Stadium is designed to offer 360 degree unobstructed views, from all seats, with the addition of big screens and spacious concourse areas, making attending events like the Ashes a more comfortable and pleasurable experience.
Where is the Perth Stadium?
The Perth Stadium is located at 333, Victoria Park Drive, Burswood, WA 6100. It is part of the larger Burswood Park precinct, across the Swan River from the old WACA venue.
