Your Itinerary

Day 1 to 4 - Sydney

Begin your Australian city adventure in Sydney, where there is so much to see! The Royal Botanic Garden in the heart of the city is stunning all year round. Jump on the ferry to Manly and you’ll find a golden beach and beautiful coastal walks. Taronga Zoo is considered one of the best in the world best, and offers superb views across the harbour. In the evening, The Rocks and Darling Harbour come alive, with both Sydneysiders and visitors enjoying food and drink al fresco.

We have included in your stay a unique and must do experience – the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, the city’s most famous icon. This 3 hour experience will take you to the lofty heights of the bridge’s summit where you can enjoy some spectacular panoramic views of the city and surrounds.

If you would like to head out into the Blue Mountains, please ask your Travel Consultant to include this in your itinerary.

Day 5 to 8 - Melbourne

Melbourne has long been hailed as the sport and food capital of Australia, building its reputation around fine boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and world famous sporting events.

On a day of your choice, enjoy a Hidden Secrets Walking Tour, which will take you through Melbourne’s colourful Laneways, led by a knowledgeable local guide providing a unique insight into the history and culture of the city. In the evening, why not catch a show in the East End Theatre District? Or head to Brunswick for cool cafes, or the Southbank for a riverside meal?

Outside of Melbourne, you can visit the Great Ocean Road on a day tour, or Phillip Island to witness the delightful penguin parade, both pre-bookable before you travel.

Day 9 to 11 - Adelaide

From Melbourne, you can either fly or take the train journey to Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. The city is brimming with heritage façade buildings, leafy parks and wide shopping terraces.

If you are feeling energetic, there’s a circular 6.4 km riverside walk (or run!) that goes past the Adelaide Oval and zoo. Alternatively, jump or a tram to the suburb of Glenelg, to relax on its sandy beach or enjoy a dip in the sea. Back in town, Leigh Street, Peel Street and Gilbert Place are great for bar hopping in the evening.

Included in your holiday is a full day tour to the Barossa Valley, around an hour’s drive north east of the city. Here you will be introduced to the passionate wine makers of South Australia and get to savour the local produce at cellar door tastings, whilst you take in the stunning views of the vine-covered valley.

Day 12 to 15 - Perth

Fly over the Nullarbor to Perth, the capital and gateway to Western Australia. Overlooking the Swan River, it is easy to see why Perth has evolved into a popular holiday destination. There is plenty to see in and around the city including Kings Parks, the Perth Mint, Elizabeth Quay and an endless coastline of stunning sandy beaches.

A 90 minute ferry ride from the city is the beautiful Rottnest Island. On a full day excursion, you’ll get to explore the island by bicycle (no cars are allowed!) and meet one of Western Australia’s most famous locals, the Quokka, a selfie-loving small marsupial.
