Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Brisbane

Arrive into Brisbane where there is no hurry to pick up your motorhome. We suggest you spend a night in the city to explore Queensland’s sunny capital. Climb the Story Bridge, relax on fashionable Southbank and enjoy the vibrant café culture.

Day 2 - Noosa

Collect your motorhome this morning and head north on the Bruce Highway. This road travels inland from Caloundra to Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. Spend the afternoon exploring the trendy seaside town of Noosa, relaxing along the iconic Hastings Street. Take a refreshing swim on the Main Beach, or walk along the lush bushy headlands through the Noosa National Park to witness an abundance of wildlife with stunning views along the way.

Day 3 - Hervey Bay

This morning continue north to the seaside town of Hervey Bay. Often referred to as the ‘Jewel’ in Queensland’s crown and the whale watching capital of the world, it is also the departure point to the iconic Fraser Island. Here you may get a chance to spot some whales, and if you are feeling adventurous, head across to the world’s largest sand island itself for a thrilling 4×4 tour, before heading back to Hervey Bay for the night.

Day 4 - Agnes Water

This morning head back north along the Isis Highway towards Agnes Water. Your journey will take you through the lush green cane fields by Bundaberg, a quintessential Australian town famous for its award-winning rum distillery and its local, family owned ginger beer company, both of which you can stop by for a tour or to pick up a bottle.

It’s then just an hour and a half onto Agnes Water, a wonderful place to spend an afternoon relaxing by the ocean’s edge and enjoying the town’s welcoming hospitality.

Day 5 - Rockhampton

This morning make your way to Rockhampton. Here you can enjoy the Botanical Gardens, Capricorn Caves and Keppel Bay, or if time permits, explore the Eungella National Park. Enjoy a night in Rockhampton before making your way to the palm fringed shores of Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday Islands.

Day 6 to 7 - Airlie Beach

Today continue north on the Bruce Highway towards Airlie Beach. Here you can spend your time at leisure enjoying your surroundings. We suggest you spend two nights here or take a cruise out to one of the beautiful islands; the Whitsundays are not to be missed.

Day 8 - Townsville

Leave the crystal waters of Airlie Beach behind you as you make your way to Townsville, a modern, tropical city in North Queensland. Here you can get up close to some of Australia’s great wildlife at the Billabong Sanctuary. In the evening be sure to enjoy the long beach front esplanade known as the ‘Strand’.

Day 9 - Mission Beach

Continue this morning following the picturesque Queensland coast line to Mission Beach. Stretching 14 kilometers, this beachside town is made up of golden beaches and will be the perfect base to explore this unspoilt natural environment. Here you can enjoy fine eateries, boutiques and art galleries nestled against lush tropical rainforest, and the tumbling Wallaman and Millaa Millaa Falls and Lake Barrine.

Day 10 to 13 - Cairns

Today your drive will take you through the country town of Innisfail to the tropical seaside town of Cairns for a final four night stay. A trip out to the Great Barrier Reef is a must and will be the perfect opportunity to snorkel and dive amongst the brightly coloured marine life. If time permits head north to explore the palm fringed shores of Palm Cove and Port Douglas, or simply enjoy all Cairns has to offer. Dine on the esplanade, take an indulging shopping trip, or visit the small town of Kuranda for some outstanding views across Cairns.

Day 14 - Farewell

Time for some last minute souvenir shopping before you make your way to Cairns Airport for your return flight back to the UK.
