Arrive in Sydney for a four night stay in this vibrant city. As well as the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge, there are a host historic infrastructure, museums and gardens to explore, plus the famous Bondi and Manly beaches are a must see.
Make sure you also take time to head out the city to visit the majestic Blue Mountains and to sample the Hunter Valley’s renowned produce. You can pre-book day tours with your holiday.

Day 5 – Brisbane
Fly to Brisbane this morning. There is no hurry to pick up your motorhome. We suggest you spend a night in a central hotel to explore Queensland’s capital. Climb the Story Bridge or relax on fashionable Southbank, enjoying the vibrant café

Day 6 to 9 – Noosa/Hervey Bay
This morning it is time to collect your motorhome, which will be your home for the next few days. It has a well equipped kitchen with cooker and fridge, we well as a large double bed, TV, and air conditioning – see our motorhome page for full details.
Once you have collected your motorhome it is time to leave Brisbane behind as you drive north towards the beautiful Nature Coast. Explore Noosa, relaxing along the vibrant cafe strip on the water’s edge. Take a refreshing swim on the Main Beach, or walk along the lush bushy headlands through the Noosa National Park before continuing onto the famous Hervey Bay. Here you may get a chance to spot some whales, and you can explore the iconic World Heritage listed K’gari (formerly Fraser Island). Perhaps take an exciting whale watching cruise or head across to the world’s largest sand island itself for a thrilling 4WD tour.
Day 10 to 11 – Rockhampton
Travel further north through the sugar cane fields to Rockhampton. Enjoy the Botanical Gardens and historical buildings it has to offer, or take a visit to the ancient Capricorn Caves and Koala Park before you move on. If you are feeling a bit adventurous, explore the Eungella National Park before continuing your journey to the palm white sands of Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday Islands.
Day 12 to 13 – Airlie Beach
With picturesque scenery, this is the perfect stop for a couple of days. Perhaps head out on a day cruise to take in the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, relax on deserted sandy beaches, beautiful bays and visit the famous heart reef, or unwind with a day on romantic Daydream Island. Drive through the peaceful calm Conway State Forest before continuing your journey further north.
Day 14 to 15 – Townsville/Mission Beach
Today’s journey will take you to the tropical large town of Townsville. Here you can hike the trails, or enjoy the picturesque views across the lush green tropical hinterland, before travelling onto Mission Beach. From here, discover the tumbling Wallaman and Millaa Millaa Falls and Lake Barrine as you travel though the rural scenery and country towns of the beautiful Atherton Tablelands.
Day 16 to 20 – Cairns
Continue on to the popular tropical resort town of Cairns. Explore the fabulous palm fringed beaches at Palm Cove and Port Douglas or perhaps board the Kuranda Skyrail for a scenic ride over the rainforest to the village of Kuranda. Cairns is the nearest access point to the Great Barrier Reef and you can take a full day cruise to snorkel amongst the colourful coral and marine life.
Day 21 – Farewell
Hand your motorhome in this morning as you head to Cairns airport for you return flight to the UK.
