Day 1 to 5 - Perth
Arrive into Western Australia’s sunny capital city to spend the next 5 nights. Situated along the Swan River and famed for its blue skies, extraordinary setting and laid-back atmosphere, Perth is the perfect city to spend your days strolling around the many shops, bars and restaurants. Enjoy the magnificent views from Kings Park, relax on the white sandy beaches, or if time permits head out of the city to enjoy the surrounding regions. From the wineries and the scenic south, to the natural wonders of the North and the coral shores of Rottnest Island, Perth’s natural playground has plenty to see and do.
Day 6 to 7 - Indian Pacific Rail
This morning travel in style on board the Indian Pacific from Perth to Adelaide. Stepping aboard the mighty Indian Pacific you will enjoy a private cabin together with all inclusive dining, beverages and a range of fascinating train excursions at key stops.
Sit back and watch Australia’s great Outback unfold as you pass through remote mining towns and the Nullarbor Desert, before arriving in the picturesque city of Adelaide.
Day 8 to 10 - Adelaide
Disembark your luxury train journey this morning to spend the next 3 nights in the heart of Adelaide. Explore Adelaide’s wide leafy boulevards and spacious green parklands. We suggest you catch the tram to the beach suburb of Glenelg and relax on the water’s edge. Head to the Adelaide Hills for fantastic photo opportunities, or unwind between world-class wineries in the nearby Barossa and Clare Valley.
Day 11 to 14 - Kangaroo Island
This morning head across to Kangaroo Island for a two day adventure. Kangaroo Island, Australia’s third largest island, is situated south west of Adelaide and combines dramatic coastal scenery, interrupted beaches, and an abundance of native wildlife, making it an absolute must see for those wanting to experience Australia’s unique flora, fauna, and birdlife. Enjoy two days of touring, including a visit to the Koala Sanctuary, a stop at Seal Bay to see the sea lions, the Wildlife Park, Admirals Arch, and much more, before making your way back to Adelaide for three nights.
Day 15 - Indian Pacific Rail
Sit back and relax on board the famous Indian Pacific from Adelaide to Sydney, continuing your journey across Australia. Over the next couple of hours enjoy Gold class service and the dramatic inland scenery, crossing the Great Dividing Ranges, the iconic Blue Mountains and rolling green pasture land as you make your way to the charming city of Sydney.
Day 16 to 20 - Sydney
On arrival into Sydney make your way to your hotel. Here you will spend the next five nights enjoying the charisma and charm Sydney and its surroundings have to offer. Draped around a natural Harbour and home to the iconic Opera House, Sydney is filled with vibrancy and life. Over the coming days you can enjoy the fine boutiques, galleries, parks and gardens or dine in world renowned restaurants and bars.
Day 21 - Farewell
Enjoy the last few sights of Sydney as you make your way back to the airport for your onward flight back to the UK.
