Arrive into Brisbane this morning. There is no hurry to pick up your motorhome and we suggest you spend a night in a central hotel to explore Queensland’s sunny capital.

Day 2 to 7 – East Coast Australia
Pick up your motorhome this morning and make your way south along the Pacific Highway to Byron Bay, passing through the Gold Coast and Lamington National Park. Spend the next couple of days exploring the funky, relaxed seaside towns of Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour and Port Stephens before making your way onto the wine producing region of the Hunter Valley and then onto the bright lights of Sydney.
This northern stretch of New South Wales contains some of the most beautiful scenery and landscapes in Australia. Surrounded by National Parks and uncrowded beaches this journey will surprise and delight you.
Day 8 to 9 – Sydney
Awake this morning to the spectacular views and serenity of the valley, before making your way onwards to the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a two night hotel stay. Here you can spend the next couple of days exploring Sydney and its surroundings. From the sights of Sydney Harbour Bridge to the sunsets over the city skyline, and the lush parklands, impressive beaches, to the Blue Mountains, there is plenty to see and do.

Day 10 to 11 – Christchurch
Make your way to the airport today for your onward flight to Christchurch. Known as the ‘Garden City’, Christchurch is rich in history and surrounded by natural wonders, spend your time here exploring 19th Century buildings, contemporary galleries, fine eateries and extensive open parks of this English-feeling city by vintage tram, classic Edwardian punt, bicycle or a simple stroll.

Day 12 to 17 – South Island
Collect your motorhome today to spend a few days exploring New Zealand’s scenic South Island. We suggest your journey takes you to Mt Cook, Queenstown, the iconic Milford Sound and Franz Josef, before heading back to Christchurch and then onto Picton. The South Island consists of dramatic landscapes, towering Alps meets peaceful rugged coastline and will offer the perfect vista for a couple of days.
Day 18 to 19 – Wellington
This morning make your way up north to Picton. This is the departure point for your ferry crossing to Wellington. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as you make your way across the Cook Strait. On arrival in Wellington spend the rest of the day at leisure. If time permits head up Mount Victoria for fantastic views across the city, or simply relax in lively Courtney Place, soaking up the ambiance. Continue your journey north, passing through Napier and Taupo until you reach Rotorua.
Day 20 to 21 – Rotorua
Arrive into Rotorua today to spend two nights. Rotorua known for its thermal mud pools, shooting geysers and natural hot springs, has a host of attractions and experiences for everyone from adventure-seekers to those just looking to unwind. From crystal-clear streams and magical forests, to epic biking trails and explosive geysers, to unique landscapes and authentic Maori culture, Rotorua has it all, and is the perfect place to stop and connect with nature, before heading off to the Coromandel.
Day 22 to 24 – Coromandel
Arrive into the Coromandel today to spend a couple of nights at your leisure. This laid back beach town on New Zealand’s North Island is filled with pristine beaches, native forests and is a tranquil haven away from the city. Activities and attractions are plentiful. For the more adventurous head to the Sleeping God Canyon waterfall or for those walking enthusiasts wander among the pristine bushes to explore the native wildlife. For those looking to relax and unwind we suggest a trip to the warm bubbling pools of Hot Water Beach where you can sit in your own spa and admire the spectacular views.
Leave the Coromandel this morning and continue your journey through New Zealand’s North Island, we suggest you head north up the coast to the scenic Bay of Islands, stopping at Waitangi and Whangarei before making your way back to Auckland to spend the last few days of your holiday.
Day 25 to 27 – Auckland
Arrive into Auckland to spend three nights exploring the ‘City of Sails’. Over the next couple of days, enjoy the world-class shopping, lively waterfront, vibrant restaurants and bars, as well as the pulsating arts and culture scene. With a host of harbour adventures and activities right on your doorstep, and many spectacular beaches close by, there is plenty to see and do.
Day 28 – Farewell
Say a fond farewell to New Zealand as you make your way back to the UK after a spectacular 4 week motorhome adventure.
