Day 1 to 3 - Singapore
A great place to start any holiday, Singapore provides an irresistible mix of tropical weather, modern architecture and welcoming people. Spend a few days exploring this sparkling city. The beautiful Gardens by the Bay, overlooked by the recognisable Marina Bay Sands, are a must see by day and night. Chinatown and Little India provide an overload for the senses, whilst the civic district with its historic buildings and the famous Raffles Hotel provide a throwback to a colonial past. Stay in your choice of our Singapore hotels.
Day 4 to 7 - Australia's Top End
Fly in to Darwin, the capitol of Australia’s Northern Territory, and after an evening admiring the tropical sunset, join your guide to be transported through the outback to the wetland National Parks of Kakadu & Litchfield. Enjoy a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, keeping an eye out for exotic bird life and saltwater crocodiles!
Your tour guide will hand over to a local aboriginal guide to take you to Ubirr to view ancient rock art, and learn more about living in the outback from the Bowali visitor centre.
After returning to Darwin, enjoy a full day in Litchfield National Park, where it is possible to view the majestic Florence, Tolmer and Wangi waterfalls. In the heat of the day there is an opportunity to cool off in the freshwater pools. At the Howard Springs Nature Park, you will have the chance to feed the barramundi and turtles before returning to Darwin in the early evening.
Day 8 to 10 - Australia's Red Centre
Fly directly from Darwin to Ayers Rock Airport to begin your exploration of Uluru & Kings Canyon. On arrival you will be transferred to your chosen resort, before visiting the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn more about Red Centre region. The highlight of your first day will be a tour around the sacred sites at the base of Uluru with a local guide. Later you can relax with a cocktail as the sun sets over Uluru (Ayers Rock) bringing out the deep colours for which the world’s largest monolith is renowned.
Dawn in the Red Centre is equally colourful so it is ideal to have an early breakfast before travelling to the mystical domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Walpa Gorge. You will have time to explore both on foot before being transported on to Kings Canyon.
The following morning a walk around the rim of Kings Canyon will provide exceptional views of gorge, plant life and the animals that live amongst the boulders. There are a choice of walks with varying lengths and difficulties, with the longest taking up to three hours to complete. You will then be transferred to your choice of hotel in Alice Springs.
Day 11 to 15 Sydney
From Alice Springs Airport fly east to the spectacular city of Sydney, for five nights at your choice of Sydney hotel, to give you time to explore the city at your leisure. There is so much to see and do in Sydney, whether it is wandering through the botanic gardens, or learning more of the history of the settlers around The Rocks. You could choose to to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, or take a cruise around the harbour to get a different view. You can visit Bondi and Manly beaches or go behind the scenes of Sydney Opera House.
If you want to travel further, then you could cruise upriver to Parramatta or join a day tour to the beautiful Blue Mountains or the Hunter Valley wineries.
