Your Itinerary

Day 1 to 2 - Perth

Arrive into the Western Australian capital of Perth, the world’s most isolated city. You can choose from our great range of places to stay in Perth, including a number of self catering apartment hotels.

Spend the next two days exploring at your leisure. We recommend venturing up to Kings Park for breathtaking views over the city and to see some fine examples of the unique flora and fauna found in Western Australia. You may also want to visit the historic port of Freemantle or Perth’s famous Cottesloe Beach.

Day 3 - Rottnest Island

Board the short high speed ferry service to Rottnest Island, a picture perfect island with crystal clear water bays and beaches, walking trails and historical significance. Most famously, it is the home to Western Australia’s cutest resident, the Quokka, a small marsupial who has gained famed for their willingness to indulge in a selfie with visitors!

Spend the night in a en suite luxury tent at Discovery Rottnest, with complimentary bicycle and snorkel hire included.

Day 4 - Perth

Enjoy a morning at leisure exploring Rottnest Island before boarding the ferry back to Perth for your final night in the city.

Day 5 - Adelaide

Fly to South Australia and check in at your choice of Adelaide accommodation. This pleasant city can easily be explored by foot, though make sure to also ride the historic tram to the seaside resort of Glenelg, just 30 minutes from the centre.

Day 6 - Kangaroo Island Self Drive

A day tour to Phillip Island is included in your stay, to see the where the nightly display of fairy penguins waddling ashore, and to visit to a local koala sanctuary to meet Australia’s cuddliest icon.

Day 12 - Brisbane

Next it’s off to Brisbane for an exciting two night stay in Queensland’s capital. Wander along the lively city’s Southbank with waterparks, an eclectic art scene and some fine restaurants and museums. We recommend a visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary for another chance to interact with these adorable creatures and see other Australian animals. You’ll stay in your choice of Brisbane hotel.

Day 14 - Moreton Island

Today you will begin a two night adventure on Moreton Island staying at Tangalooma Island Resort, just 75 minutes by ferry from Brisbane.

Each night a pod of wild dolphins comes to shore, and you will have the chance to feed them by hand. You may also want to take a cruise to discover the variety of marine life within the island’s waters, snorkel amongst shallow wrecks just off the shore or explore the many walking trails around the island.

Day 15 - Cairns

Catch the morning ferry from Moreton Island back to Brisbane in time for your flight to tropical North Queensland for a two night stay at your choice of Cairns hotel.

North Queensland is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world. A day cruise to the Barrier Reef is a must, but you may also want to travel to the ancient Cape Tribulation rainforest teeming with unique fauna and flora or relax on Cairn’s nearby Northern Beaches.
