Arrive into the Western Australian capital of Perth, the world’s most isolated city. You can choose from our great range of places to stay in Perth, including a number of self catering apartment hotels.
Spend the next two days exploring at your leisure. We recommend venturing up to Kings Park for breathtaking views over the city and to see some fine examples of the unique flora and fauna found in Western Australia. You may also want to visit the historic port of Freemantle or Perth’s famous Cottesloe Beach.

Day 3 – Rottnest Island
Board the short high speed ferry service to Rottnest Island, a picture perfect island with crystal clear water bays and beaches, walking trails and historical significance. Most famously, it is the home to Western Australia’s cutest resident, the Quokka, a small marsupial who has gained famed for their willingness to indulge in a selfie with visitors!

Day 4 – Perth
Enjoy a morning at leisure exploring Rottnest Island before boarding the ferry back to Perth for your final night in the city.

Fly to South Australia and check in at your choice of Adelaide accommodation. This pleasant city can easily be explored by foot, though make sure to also ride the historic tram to the seaside resort of Glenelg, just 30 minutes from the centre.

Day 6 to 7 – Kangaroo Island
Pick up your hire car this morning and drive south from Adelaide through the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jarvis to catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island.
The largest island off the South Australian coast, Kangaroo Island offers a magical combination of sun, sea and native flora and fauna. The coastline of the island changes from the attractive curved beach at Emu Bay to the rugged cliffs and roaring surf of the south.
You have the best part of two days to explore this wildlife haven. Flinders Chase National Park is a must, where you’ll find the Remarkable Rocks, Weirs Cove and Admiral Arch, but you may also want to visit Kelly Hill Caves, “Koala Walk” and Seal Bay Conservation Park, where you can walk amongst sea lions.

Day 8 – Fleurieu Peninsula
Depart Kangaroo Island, taking the ferry from Penneshaw to Cape Jervis and return to Adelaide at leisure.
Take the chance to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula en route; you will find a spectacular mix of coastal scenery, rolling farmland, ordered vineyards, fine dining experiences. You could visit the striking avant-garde d’Arenberg Cube within the award winning d’Arenberg vineyard or enjoy some cellar door visits to boutique family owned wineries such as Gentree Wines within the McLaren Vale.

Day 9 to 11 – Melbourne
After another night in Adelaide, it is time to fly to Melbourne, the cosmopolitan and vibrant capital of Victoria. You can choose from our range of Melbourne accommodation, including city centre hotels and apartments.
A day tour to Phillip Island is included in your stay, to see the where the nightly display of fairy penguins waddling ashore, and to visit to a local koala sanctuary to meet Australia’s cutest icon.

Day 12 & 13 – Brisbane
Next it’s off to Brisbane for an exciting two night stay in Queensland’s capital. Wander along the lively city’s Southbank with waterparks, an eclectic art scene and some fine restaurants and museums. Day 14 – Moreton Island
Today you will begin a two night adventure on Moreton Island staying at Tangalooma Island Resort, just 75 minutes by ferry from Brisbane.
Each night a pod of wild dolphins comes to shore, and you will have the chance to feed them by hand. You may also want to take a cruise to discover the variety of marine life within the island’s waters, snorkel amongst shallow wrecks just off the shore or explore the many walking trails around the island.

Day 15 & 16 – Cairns
Catch the morning ferry from Moreton Island back to Brisbane in time for your flight to tropical North Queensland for a two night stay at your choice of Cairns hotel.
North Queensland is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the natural wonders of the world. A day cruise to the Barrier Reef is a must, but you may also want to travel to the ancient Cape Tribulation rainforest teeming with unique fauna and flora or relax on Cairn’s nearby Northern Beaches.
