Add a Little Outback…

There is no place on Earth like the Australian Outback. 5.6 million square kilometres of untouched, unassuming natural beauty, from the ancient gorges and tropical wetlands of Kakadu, to Uluru and Australia’s iconic Red Centre.

Despite its size, it is easy to add an Outback experience to your itinerary. The gateway to Kakadu, Litchfield and Nitmiluk National Parks, Darwin is less than 5 hours from Singapore, so a great place to start of finish your holiday. Alice Springs and Uluru are also well connected to Sydney and all major Australian cities.

Getting around the Top End

The three main National Park’s of the Northern Territory’s tropical Top End are in easy reach from Darwin by car or campervan, with sealed roads the entire journey. Together they make a fantastic circular self drive:

• Darwin to Kakadu National Park – 265 km, around 3 hours (to Jabiru)
• Kakadu to Nitmiluk National Park – 305 km, around 3 hours
• Nitmiluk to Litchfield National Park – 255 km, around 2 hours 30 minutes
• Litchfield to Darwin – 107 km, around 1 hour 15 minutes

We recommend at least two nights in each park, to give you time to explore, and to simply absorb the magnitude and magnificence of your surroundings.
