Experience a full or half day small group cultural tour of Port Douglas’ Daintree region in tropical North Queensland.
Join your Aboriginal guide and explore Kuku Yalanji country, the only place where two world heritage sites – Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef – meet. Listen to fascinating stories and insights into the cultural connection the people have with the land along the way.
You’ll explore Mossman Gorge, the Rainforest and Daintree River. Learn about the environment, different bush foods and medicines. While appreciating the history, culture and traditions of the Australian Aboriginal people, you could collect shellfish, try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices and have a go at spear throwing.
