About Your Island Resort
A four hour drive north of Brisbane at the Southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island’s untamed wilderness offers an exciting combination of unique touring experiences and stunning scenery. The eco-friendly Kingfisher Bay is easily accessible from the island’s ferry port and a short drive from the crystal clear waters of Lake McKenzie. The resort has an excellent choice of nature tours including whale watching and 4WD adventures to Seventy-Five Mile Beach, Eli Creek and the iconic Maheno shipwreck.
Accommodation
Private balcony or deck and TV. Hotel rooms and some apartments have air conditioning. Apartments have one, two or three bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. One bedroom apartments are split level.

How to Get There…
Kingfisher Bay is located on the World Heritage Listed Fraser Island, 4 hours north of Brisbane. Access is from River Heads just 20 minutes outside of Hervey Bay. There is secure parking for you to be able to leave your car or motorhome at the wharf.
The 220 seat passenger ferry departs 6 times a day and takes 50 minutes to cruise over to Fraser Island.
