This morning the train arrives into Katherine where you will have the chance to explore the awe inspiring Nitmiluk Gorge by boat and learn more about its indigenous significance and history. Alternatively, discover a slice of authentic outback life on a cattle station. Hear outback stories, watch a horse and cattle dog demonstration, and sit back and relax with a live music performance of Aussie anthems.

Return to the Ghan for a much deserve lunch before arriving into Darwin later that evening.

• Thursday 18:00 – Depart Alice Springs
• Friday morning – Katherine Experience
• Friday 19:50 – Arrive Darwin

The reverse journey, from Darwin to Alice Springs operates on a Wednesday in March and November.
