Your journey aboard the great Indian Pacific train begins in Adelaide, with an exclusive dining experience in the famous wine region Barossa Valley. You’ll enjoy a ‘Firing of the Barrel’ display, a curated menu highlighting regional ingredients and delicious wine pairing, and an introduction to the history of Barossa Valley.

After dinner, you will board the train, and you can spend the evening settling into your cabin, or with a nightcap in the lounge.

Overnight, you will cross into New South Wales, enjoying some spectacular views accompanied by a hearty breakfast on board. After your meal, you’ll disembark in Broken Hill, where you can choose from several off-train excursions:

Following your activity, you’ll return to the train for lunch. Soak in the passing landscapes as you travel through New South Wales that afternoon, before a delicious dinner on board.

Enjoy your final breakfast on board, before disembarking in the Blue Mountains (or alternatively travel straight into Sydney). There are several activities on offer to explore this World Heritage-listed area:

• High Tea in the Blue Mountains

Following your excursion in the Blue Mountains, you will complete the last leg of your journey into Sydney Central Station.
