Your Rail Journey
Join the Spirit of Queensland for a picturesque overnight journey from the bright lights of Brisbane to the island jewels of the Whistsundays. Sit back and relax as you travel past the sweeping coastline and lush green fields of Southern Queensland.
On your arrival or departure from Prosperpine Station, a complimentary coach transfer will take you to the lively coastal resort of Airlie Beach, the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. Enjoy an extended stay in the region to allow you time to explore the islands including Whitehaven Beach and the famous natural formation of Heart Reef which is best viewed from the air on a scenic flight.

Economy customers have access to the Club Car which offers refreshments available to purchase throughout the journey.
Railbed
A spacious and comfortable seat by day that converts in to a lie-flat bed at night, similar to an airline business class seat. Enjoy 35 degrees of recline and a wide flat screen TV with on-demand entertainment options including movies and music. At night sleep well on a thick mattress topper and comfortable linen, all included in your fare.
Railbed customers can enjoy all meals served directly to their seat.
Onboard facilities
Club Car allowing guests to purchase refreshments throughout the journey, showers and toilets situated at the end of each of the passenger carriages and water fountains located on every car.
