Cervantes is a crayfishing centre, and appeals to anglers because of the wide range of fish that can be caught from the shore. The town’s beaches are ideal for swimming, boating and especially windsurfing.

Nambung National Park almost surrounds the town of Cervantes, and its major draw, the Pinnacles, are 29 km to the south. Here thousands of limestone pillars, standing up to 4 metres tall, dot the barren landscape. There are places to park so you can explore the pinnacles area on foot.
