Begin your journey with an early morning start to reach the historic twin towns of Dongara and Port Denison, located four hours north of Perth. There are some quaint historic coastal villages to explore, and picturesque nature walks including the Greenough River Nature Trail located about 20 minutes south of Geraldton in the town of Greenough.
Geraldton is the main port and administration centre of the mid-west region, noted for its beautiful wild spring flowers and the countryside.

Day 2 – Carnarvon
Continue north to the tropical fruit town of Carnarvon. The region is famed for its vast number of banana plantations as well as the spectacular Carnarvon Blowholes.

Day 3 to 4 – Exmouth
Drive north through the splendour of Coral Bay to Exmouth, the northern gateway to Ningaloo Marine Park. A two night stay in the region will allow you time to explore the Ningaloo Marine Park; snorkel, dive, take a cruise or swim with Ningaloo whale sharks (from April to June). Alternatively, the beautiful Cape Range National Park is less than an hour’s drive – a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons such as Yardie Creek, surrounded by 50 kilometres of pristine beaches, in particular, Turquoise Bay.

Day 5 to 6 – Monkey Mia
Drive south along the North West Coastal Highway to Monkey Mia, 26 kilometres from Denham in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area.
Enjoy a day of rest, to relax and experience this beautiful area. Visit the dolphins or just relax on the fantastic beaches. There are also boat tours which leave Monkey Mia to view the dugongs or ‘sea cows’ which graze among the seagrass beds.

Day 7 to 8 – Kalbarri
The journey south begins today, but there is still plenty to see and do on the journey back to Perth over the coming days. With its pristine beaches and towering coastal cliffs, Kalbarri is the ideal place for the nature lover.
Explore Kalbarri National Park including the magnificent Murchison River Gorges, take a walk to the natural rock arch known as Nature’s Window, or spend the day fishing, diving or just relaxing.

Day 9 – Cervantes
Make your way further south today to the town of Cervantes and the Nambung National Park. If you wish, stop off at Jurian Bay, for pristine white sands and enticing clear waters. The Nambung National Park, which includes the Pinnacles, is located just 17 kilometres south of Cervantes. Spend the rest of the day exploring the amazing Pinnacle rock formations.

Day 10 – Perth
Enjoy time on the beach or some fishing before making your way back to Perth.
