Leave the leafy terraces of Adelaide and drive south towards Cape Jervis, the mainland departure point for the 45 minute ferry journey to Kangaroo Island and the quaint seafront town of Penneshaw. The island shows nature at its wildest, with beautiful coastal seascapes, clear sea bays, and abundant fauna and flora.

A two night stay will give you time to explore the island, from the sea lion littered beach at Seal Bay to the rugged surf beaches in the south. And, of course, look out for the native wildlife, including wallabies and kangaroos, echidnas, koalas, penguins and over 200 types of native birds.
