Only 25 miles from Brisbane, Moreton Island is home to the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, an old whaling station now dedicated to the observation and research of Bottlenose dolphins and Humpback whales. Dolphins regularly visit the resort in the evenings, offering the opportunity to feed them by hand*.

There is a choice of over 40 activities on Moreton Island including quad biking, 4WD desert tours, national park bush walks and sand tobogganing. There are also fantastic snorkelling opportunities over the scattered shipwrecks which lie within easy distance from the island’s shore.
