    Toronto Holidays 2025 & 2026

Ontario’s capital and largest city, Toronto is said to be the most multicultural city in the world, with over half of the people living there having been born in other countries, making it a melting pot of cultures. It’s a great place to shop, dine and explore and it also provides a great hub for exploring this diverse region. Toronto also plays host to the world’s tallest man-made structure, the impressive CN Tower. This 553 meter high communications and observation tower is located in Downtown Toronto overlooking the city and sparkling Lake Ontario. Visit the observation decks on a clear day and you might even be lucky enough to see as far as Niagara Falls.

    Ottawa

Located in southeast Ontario is Canada’s capital city, Ottawa. This unique city is the home of Canada’s Government and the setting for national celebrations year-round. It’s a city bursting with culture, it has a relaxed vibe and offers a wealth of experiences including Ontario’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal. At its heart is Parliament Hill, with its grand Victorian architecture and museums such as the National Gallery of Canada. During the summer months you are invited to watch the popular Changing of the Guard and in the evening the impressive Sound and Light show, both are free and should not be missed.

    Niagara Falls

Aside from its wonderful cities, Ontario is also known for its natural diversity including vast forests, beautiful provincial parks, four of the five Great Lakes and of course, the world-famous Niagara Falls. This incredible natural wonder is made up of three waterfalls that cross the border into the USA. Built up over the years into a major tourist attraction there is no shortage of things to do here. You can jump on board the iconic Hornblower cruise, journey behind the falls, fly over in a helicopter or head to the top of the Skylon Tower for panoramic views. After a day or two of exploring this natural wonder and all the attractions that surround it, it’s worth heading to the charming small town of Niagara on the Lake for a visit to the world-class wineries.

    Algonquin Provincial Park

Further afield, Algonquin Park is home to forests, lakes, rivers and an abundance of wildlife, including moose and bears. This beautiful Provincial Park provides a great opportunity for outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping and canoeing. For the less adventurous types, a cruise around the stunning 1000 Islands from Kingston will leave you speechless.
