Your Yukon adventure begins at the Air North check-in counter at Vancouver International Airport, where your tour guide will meet you and assist with check-in. This scenic flight to Whitehorse gives a great perspective on the winter wonderland that is the Yukon wilderness.

A guide will be waiting to greet as you descend into Whitehorse, and they will begin your Yukon experience with a guided tour of town, allowing you to appreciate what it is like to live and enjoy life in the Yukon,

Following this introduction, you will visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, where you will have the chance to see and photograph native wildlife like moose, caribou, and mountain goats up close and in their natural habitat. It will also give you an idea what to keep an eye out for during your winter activities.

After checking into your lakeside lodge you will receive your arctic winter clothing, and enjoy a gourmet group dinner together. Later in the evening, you’ll have your first opportunity to step outside and catch a glimpse of the magical Northern Lights.

Start the day with a delicious buffet breakfast at the inn before heading out for an  snowmobiling tour on the frozen Marsh Lake. A professional snowmobile guide will give instructions and lead the group on a scenic tour.

After the snowmobile tour there will be a demonstration of ice-fishing on the lake followed by a campfire lunch in a picturesque mountain setting.

Returning to the inn in the afternoon, you’ll gather for a family-style gourmet dinner, followed by free time to relax and enjoy the lodge’s facilities, including an outdoor hot tub.

The evening is yours to relax, with a further option to step outside and watch the Northern Lights from the lodge’s beautiful surroundings.

Begin the day with a buffet breakfast at the lodge. Then, for those that have pre-booked this activity, there is a traditional dog sledding tour. You will depart after breakfast with a packed lunch for this unforgettable adventure. Your guides will introduce you to the dog team and show you how they control the sled, before taking you on scenic tour. (please note this activity has limited availability and must be booked in advance).

Those preferring to stay at the lodge can still try their hand at snowshoeing or explore with the provided fat-tyre bikes. Alternatively you may prefer simply relax, enjoy the hot-tub and the surrounding scenery.

In the evening, you will come together for a home-cooked group dinner and afterwards, there’s free time to relax and take advantage of your final chance to view the stunning Northern Lights.

Enjoy breakfast this morning at the lodge before packing up and preparing for departure. After saying goodbye to the inn, you will be transferred back to the Whitehorse airport for your early afternoon flight back to Vancouver, bringing unforgettable memories of the Yukon with you.
