Stay somewhere a little different on your Nova Scotia holiday!

On the west coast of Cape Breton Island, Archer’s Edge is a collection of just five geodesic glamping domes with panoramic windows and private balconies overlooking the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Each dome has a cosy bed, kitchenette (with coffee machine), and an ensuite bathroom. They are designed for nature lovers who also appreciate home comforts!

There is a communal campfire, around which you can share stories with neighbouring guests, as the sky lights up with stars.

Archer’s Edge is less than a kilometre from the Celtic Shores Coastal Trail, and 10 kilometres from Port Hood, home to five sandy beaches, with the warmest waters in Eastern Canada (reaching a balmy 24°C).

It’s also a great place to stay en route to the Cabot Trail, with Margaree Forks less then a scenic hour’s drive away.

Glamping domes have air-conditioning and electric heating, an ensuite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchenette, including a coffee machine, microwave, toaster and fridge.

Please note, there is no TV, phone or WiFi – but that’s part of the appeal, right?
