Your Itinerary
Day 1 & 2 - Toronto
Welcome to Canada! After making your way from the airport to your chosen Toronto hotel, head out to explore the shops, bars, restaurants and parks of the country’s largest city.
Entrance to the CN Tower’s Observation Deck and a 24 hour Toronto Hop-On Hop-Off bus pass are included in your holiday, to make sure to you can do the city justice. The bus stops at 20 locations including Lawrence Market, Yonge-Dundas Square, the wonderful Casa Loma and the Harbourfront, where from May to October you can join a complimentary harbour and islands cruise.
Day 3 - Niagara Falls
Today you’ll get up close and personal with one of North America’s greatest natural wonders.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel at around 09:30, to travel with your group of a maximum 12 guests, to Niagara Falls where you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch followed by a cruise past American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, into the mist at the foot of the thundering Horseshoe Falls, the most powerful of the trio.
You’ll be accompanied by a tour guide throughout the trip, who’ll provide insightful commentary on the journey to and from Toronto.
Day 4 to 6 - Montreal
After an early breakfast, make your way to Toronto Union Station to board your train to Montreal, which hugs the shoreline of Lake Ontario, before following the St. Lawrence River north east, crossing the border into the province of Quebec.
After checking into your preferred Montreal hotel, enjoy the rest of day wondering the cobbled streets of this stunningly picturesque city, perhaps choosing from the restaurants along Notre Dame Street West, or in Chinatown or Little Italy for dinner.
You then have two full days to explore further, with a Montreal Hop-on Hop-off bus pass to help you get around. The bus stops at 10 different locations including the Notre Dame Basilica and Pointe-à-Callière Museum in Old Montreal and the Kondiaronk and Camillien Houde lookouts on Mont-Royal, where you can enjoy a sweeping view across the city.
Day 7 & 8 - Quebec City
Your train journey from Montreal to Quebec City this morning takes around 3 hours 45 minutes, through the plains of the river valley and into the city centre.
Make you way to your chosen Quebec City hotel to check in and drop your bags off, then head out to explore, with a stroll along Dufferin Terrace a great place to start, past the iconic Château Frontenac hotel and overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
You have another full day in Quebec City to absorb the fascinating history of the French-Canadian capital, with ‘must-see’ attractions including the Basilica Cathedral Notre-Dame, Place Royale and Citadelle de Québec, at the top of Cap Diamant. A Quebec City Hop-on Hop-off bus pass is included to help you make the most or your time.
Day 8 - Farewell from Quebec City
Your Eastern Canada adventure comes to its end today as you make your way to Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport for your connecting flight back to the UK.
