Welcome to Sin City! 🤩
Make your way to your chosen Las Vegas hotel then take a moment to soak in the exuberance of the Vegas ‘Strip’. It’s a truly 24/7 destination, with non-stop music and entertainment. Theme parks, waterparks, go-karting, golf; you name it, you can find it in Vegas.
Amongst the excitement, do make sure to catch the famous Bellagio Fountains burst into life (every quarter of an hour during the evening) and to wander past The Sphere, the city’s latest landmark.
For fast thrills, it’s also possible to pre-book a Las Vegas helicopter flight, or an AVT off-road experience.

Day 4 & 5 – Grand Canyon
Leave the bright lights of Vegas behind as you pick up your hire car and head east to the Grand Canyon.
It’s around a 4 hour drive, though give yourself time to stop at the impressive Hoover Dam on the Arizona/Nevada state border, or to take a detour to drive an original section of Route 66 between Kingman and Seligan, grabbing a selfie and souvenir at Hackberry General Store.
You’ll be staying two nights in Grand Canyon Village, on the South Rim, from where you can walk to several lookouts, or drive to Navajo Point or Desert View Watchtower, both great spots to watch the sunset.
If you would like to stay in Williams and take the Grand Canyon Railway to and from the South Rim, just let your Travel Consultant know.

Day 6 – Scottsdale
Enjoy another day of stunning southwestern scenery as you drive from the Grand Canyon to Scottsdale on the outskirts of Phoenix.
Just south of Flagstaff, leave Interstate 17 to join the 89A, to visit Slide Rock State Park, a favourite with locals, before arriving into the trendy desert town of Sedona, a great spot for lunch. The short but spectacular Red Rock Scenic Byway takes you back to the I17, past dramatic iron-infused cliff faces and towering buttes.
Relax by the pool at your chosen Scottsdale hotel, or head into the Old Town for a bite to eat.

Day 7 to 11 – Cancun
It’s less than a 10 mile drive from Scottsdale to the car hire depot at Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport, where most direct flights to the Cancun depart.
On arrival in Mexico, jump on the shuttle to Moon Palace Cancun, your all-inclusive home for the next five nights. The resort is divided into two sections, Nizuc and Sunrise, catering for both those seeking a relaxing stay, and those who enjoy a lively evening atmosphere.
Spend your days relaxing by pool or on the pristine beach. Go kayaking, paddleboarding or sailing on the Caribbean Sea, or book a snorkelling or deep sea fishing trip. For dinner, tickle your taste buds at one of the resort’s 17 restaurants, then enjoy live entertainment into the night. You won’t want to leave Moon Palace Cancun!
If you would like to stay at a different hotel in the Cancun, or Caribbean, just let us know.
Day 12 – Farewell from Cancun
Bid farewell to the beach this morning and take the shuttle back to the airport for your flight home, on which you can plan your next USA and Caribbean escape…
