On arrival into Dubai, transfer to your hotel near the shores of Dubai Creek in the Al Sheef precinct. This thriving area of the city celebrates Dubai’s beginnings as a lucrative pearl diving base and to this day still retains its Arabian old world architecture and charming walkways which meander through the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.
Be sure to visit the Etihad Museum which was built on the exact location where the union of the Emirates was formed in 1971, and provides an interesting glimpse into lie in the UAE.
For the ultimate shopping experience head to one of the city’s traditional Souks – choose from the Spice Souk, Gold Souk, Textile Souk or marvel at the tastes of Arabia at Deira’s Waterfront Market.
