Please note, a government imposed tax (User Recovery Charge) of $7.64 per 100 km will be payable locally when you drop off your motorhome.

You can pick up your camper from Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown.

There is a $200 fee for all pickup and drop-offs from Queenstown.

Motorhomes can be taken on the Interisland Ferry (a charge will apply)

A $100 one way fee applies when travelling from Auckland to Christchurch or Queenstown between April and September and $250 from October to March. A $150 one way fee applies when travelling from Christchurch or Queenstown to Auckland from November to March. For one way hires from Christchurch to Queenstown or vice versa, a $50 charge applies April to September and $75 from October to March. One way fees are payable locally.

Please ask your New Zealand Expert if you would like to pre-book any of these optional extras before you travel:

• Excess reduction from $7500 to nil
• Extra driver fees (usually $2 per day)
