Your Stopover in Bali

The Island’s capital of Denpasar will act as your gateway to Bali and from here you can access the resort town of Kuta with its popular beaches, great shopping and lively nightlife or the slightly quieter region of Sanur. Make some time for the markets of Denpasar where you’ll experience the smells of varied spices and see the endless stalls of colour.

For longer stays, venture inland to Ubud, rich in fine examples of Balinese art and culture and blessed with ancient temples and lush green cascading rice terraces. It is here that you will also find the popular Sacred Monkey Forest. Hide your peanuts from the wild long-tailed Balinese Macaques here which roam free in this protected forest.

Visit Pura Jagatnatha, Bali’s state temple which is the scene for many of the island’s biggest festivals. Or perhaps you’ll be keener on Waterbom Park, a maze of water slides and family fun found just south of Kuta.
