Day 1: Auckland
Depart London or your local airport for your journey to the North Island of New Zealand. Arrive into Auckland and spend the next couple of days at leisure.
Situated on a narrow isthmus between two beautiful harbours, Auckland the ‘city of sails’ is New Zealand’s largest city. The warm sunny climate, with its generous and evenly distributed rainfall is ideal and there are beautiful parklands and garden reserves throughout.
Spend two nights at the vibrant M Social hotel, overlooking Princes Wharf and a short walk to the many restaurants and bars which line the harbour.
Day 5: Rotorua
This morning collect your rental car in Auckland and make your way to Rotorua. Enjoy the drive through farmland, lakeland and forest until the distinctive smell of sulphur and constant steam drifts let you know you are in tempestuous, geothermal Rotorua.
Geysers, pools of boiling mud, crystal springs and hot mineral water and richly coloured craters make Rotorua, one of the world’s great tourist attractions.
Day 7: Napier
Enjoy the scenery as the road changes from forest to rugged mountain ranges and then to fertile vineyards as you continue on to Hawke’s Bay, known for its Art Deco architecture, gourmet food and world-class wineries.
Stay two nights at the beautiful boutique Mangapapa Hotel, located in the heart of Hawke’s Bay.
Day 9: Martinborough
Take in the clean, green Wairarapa scenery as you drive south through to Martinborough, home to over 25 boutique vineyards. Take your time over the next couple of days to stop and enjoy the various cellar door and gourmet food experiences available.
Day 11: Marlborough Sounds
Travel to Wellington and drop off your rental car at the Interislander Ferry depot in time for your ferry crossing through the Marlborough Sounds to Picton. Enjoy a full day at leisure in the Marlborough region and sample some of the local Sauvignon Blanc.
Day 13: Kaikoura
Make your way down the east coast to Kaikoura, known for its beautiful and rugged coastline and seafood dishes. This afternoon is the start of your unique PurePod adventure and secluded overnight accommodation. Day 14: Christchurch
Continue down the coast, across broad, braided rivers and the rich patchwork farming landscape of the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch.

Day 15: Oamaru
Travel south along the coast to the historical town of Oamaru. The rest of your day is at your leisure to explore this delightful township and relax in your luxury lodge style accommodation Pen-Y-Bryn.
Day 16: Queenstown
Depart Oamaru and drive towards the scenic beauty of Queenstown, which sits on the shores of Lake Wakatipu and is surrounded by stunning mountain peaks. Enjoy a relaxing two night escape in the Gibbston Valley, only 25 minutes from the centre of Queenstown and one of the most scenic wine growing regions you’ll encounter.
Day 18: Cook Islands
Make your way to the airport for your flight to the tropical paradise of the South Pacific. Arrive into picturesque Rarotonga to spend four nights with a memorable visit to neighbouring Aitutaki.
Spend the last days of your honeymoon taking in the warm Polynesian hospitality and palm fringed beach views.
