Once a mansion in the 1930s, the property and the rooms retain the elegant yet homely charm of this character home. The lodge overlooks the calm waters of Lake Rotorua and offers views towards nearby Mokoia Island and is surrounded by rolling hills complete with resident donkeys and miniature horses. The property’s private beach is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the geothermal wonders of Rotorua.

Each of the elegantly furnished suites has its own lounge area and en suite bathroom with inviting spa bath. All guests are invited to use the communal lounge with its welcoming open fireplace and admire the many antique artefacts which give this old family home its charm.
