Tuck into a delicious à la carte menu of Asian and Pacific-inspired dishes and shared platters, paired with hand-crafted cocktails, all set against a club-like atmosphere with upbeat tunes playing throughout the day.

Spend the morning and early afternoon relaxing at the beach club before heading to your cruise boat mid-afternoon, where you’ll find your luggage already waiting in your cabin.

Check in for your cruise departure at 3:00pm. Meet the crew and familiarise yourself with the boat and your private cabin accommodation before joining the other guests over a relaxed welcome drink.

Set sail for the outer Mamanuca Islands, with the first overnight anchorage at South Sea Cay. Watch the sun dip below the horizon with a glass of sparkling wine and canapés in hand, before sitting down to an à la carte Captain’s Welcome Dinner showcasing the best of fresh Fijian produce, followed by live entertainment from our singing and guitar-playing crew.

Spend the morning swimming alongside gentle reef sharks in Fiji’s crystal-clear waters, weather permitting, a highlight for snorkellers. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the chiefly village of Soso in Soso Bay, guided by one of the crew. Meet the locals and learn about the customs of Fiji’s indigenous people, before settling in for afternoon tea on the beach as the waves lap gently at the shore.

This evening, sit down to a traditional Indian thali dinner, a nod to Fiji’s rich Indian heritage, followed by lively Bollywood dancing and movies under the stars.

Sunday is a rest day in Fiji, so for those who wish, the morning starts with an optional visit to a village church service, a lovely opportunity to experience local Fijian community life and hospitality firsthand. Enjoy lunch back onboard before cruising south to Naukacuvu Island. The rest of the day is yours to relax on the beach, with plenty of time for sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling, an area well known for its fantastic daytime snorkelling.

By night, we set anchor on the eastern side of the island, where you’ll get to watch the colours of the sunset shift across the sky. Join fellow guests for Happy Hour on the Sun Deck, before tucking into a South Pacific-themed buffet dinner and a game (or several) of Fiji Bingo in the Lounge Bar. On a clear night, round things off with a nightcap on the Sky Deck, where little to no light pollution makes for spectacular stargazing.

Admire the stunning Sacred Islands and the volcanic formations of neighbouring Waya Lailai, before spending the day swimming, snorkelling and relaxing on the beach. Not far from where you anchor is the site used for snorkelling with reef sharks at an ocean reef, the crew get in the water with you and stay by your side throughout this not-to-be-missed activity.

Later in the day, watch the chef demonstrate the making of the traditional Roti in Lolo dish, before sitting down to an à la carte Captain’s Dinner this evening.

Tonight, we anchor in Yalobi Bay, the most beautiful bay on Waya Island, the southernmost and most mountainous of the Yasawa Islands. These peaks are often capped with cloud, bringing moisture that makes the island far greener than the typically dry western Fijian islands. Deep teal waters fill the bay, framed by dramatic mountains rising behind the small, palm-covered village onshore. The best way to experience Yalobi is to stay long enough to watch the changing light play across the mountains as the day unfolds.

Today you’ll visit the famed Blue Lagoon, an idyllic stretch of water ringed by pretty islands, where Blue Lagoon Cruises has its own private beach on Nanuya Lailai Island. Watching the Captain reverse the vessel almost onto the beach while the crew tie her off to the coconut trees is a highlight in itself, a little ritual unique to this piece of paradise.

Swim ashore from the vessel or hop on a tender boat to reach the shore, where a full bar awaits. From there, take your pick of optional activities, including snorkelling, fish feeding, non-motorised water sports, water aerobics and volleyball.

Part of the Yasawa Islands, the Blue Lagoon is lined with coconut palms and some of the whitest sandy beaches around, with water that shifts between aqua and turquoise, so inviting you’ll want to dive straight in to discover the coral reefs beneath the surface. It’s easy to see why this stretch of water gave Blue Lagoon Cruises its name, along with the classic film of the same name.

Sit down to a buffet lunch and afternoon tea, followed by a traditional Lovo dinner, cooked underground beneath the stars, and rounded off with a Meke performance from local villagers.

Start the day with an easy 40-minute guided walk, rewarded with panoramic views over the Blue Lagoon. Lunch is served on board as you cruise north towards Sawa-I-Lau, often referred to as ‘the very heart of the Yasawas’ and one of the must-do stops for anyone visiting Fiji’s spectacular Blue Lagoon.

Hidden within a small island in the northern Yasawas, the ancient limestone caves here were carved out over time by constant wave action, and come with a legend to match. As the story goes, a young Chief once hid safely in the cave with his betrothed after her family threatened to marry her off to a rival Chief, swimming in daily with food until the pair eventually escaped together to another island. The caves are also known as the resting place of Ulutini, the ten-headed ancient Fijian god.

Guided by friendly local Fijians, you’ll explore the caves for yourself. The first cavern is simply magnificent, with light filtering through a hole in the ceiling to reveal the space in all its glory. For those after a bit more adventure, a second, more secretive cavern awaits, accessible only via an underwater tunnel.

This afternoon, visit the village of Tamasua for a traditional Yaqona (Kava) ceremony, followed by a guided walk through the village and a browse of the local shell market, before sitting down to a village-style dinner. Return on board this evening to round off the day with a movie under the stars on the Sun Deck, weather permitting.

Start the day with a visit to a local island school (during school terms), before heading to Drawaqa Island for the day. Here, a marine biologist joins to share a presentation on local marine life and the volunteer conservation work taking place in the area.

Spend time on Drawaqa’s glorious beach, set alongside a marine reserve that offers spectacular snorkelling all year round. From May to October, you might also spot manta rays feeding in the channel just off the beach, and if you fancy getting in the water, optional activities include snorkelling with the mantas or a guided reef snorkel. This stretch of coastline is also one of the main dive spots for the cruise, with coral gardens considered among the finest in Fiji, a real treat for keen divers.

This evening, tuck into a Sun Deck BBQ under the stars, followed by a lively Fijian-style celebration to round off the day.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board as you cruise back to Port Denarau. Once back in port, the crew will send you off with the traditional Isa Lei farewell song as you disembark, bringing your exploration of the Yasawas to a close.
