About Freedom

Some 20 years ago travel expert David Wallis was struggling to find a holiday company to Australia that offered the experiences that he and his family wanted, yet with the freedom to travel how and when they pleased.

So he created his own and called it ‘FREEDOM’, and now the company offers all the things David and others were looking for including:

  • Expert staff who have either lived in or travelled the destination extensively
  • Unlimited choice of travel options and experiences
  • Flexibility to mix and match different ideas and even countries
  • The protection of booking with one operator

The ethos of FREEDOM DESTINATIONS has not changed, even though the company has grown into one of the biggest independent travel companies in the UK, arranging over 3,000 tailor made holidays each year.
