Arrive into the capital of South Australia, known for its vibrant art scene, lush parklands and rich cultural heritage. Spend the next three days exploring the city whilst staying at one of Adelaide’s first class hotels.

Wine enthusiasts will appreciate Adelaide’s proximity to famous wine regions like the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, which can be easily accessed as part of an optional day excursion.

To build up the excitement before the start of the third test, tour the Adelaide Oval from the unusual vantage point of climbing its rooftop on an informative 2.5 hours guided experience. Along the way, your guide will share interesting facts about the history of the Adelaide Oval and its significance in sports and culture, as well as insightful information about the city and surrounds.

This morning you will be met at your hotel and transferred by private vehicle to the ferry terminal at Cape Jervis, for the short crossing to Kangaroo Island.

For the next four days, you will have the opportunity to relax and unwind in the comfort of Sea Dragon – one of the premier properties on Kangaroo Island.

The island itself is a wildlife haven, featuring dramatic coastline, pristine beaches and a huge diversity of fauna and flora. During your stay you will enjoy a small group island nature tour, taking you to Flinders Chase National Park and the Remarkable Rocks, along with a visit to Admirals Arch to see the native fur seals.

In addition, you can learn about the specialist food and wine production of the island, including a visit to Australia’s first dedicated gin distillery, an organic honey farm and Emu Bay Lavender Farm.

Having returned on the ferry back to the mainland, you will be transferred back to Adelaide, to your chosen hotel for the 3rd NRMA Insurance Ashes Test Match at the Adelaide Oval.
