After Sydney’s dazzling New Year’s Eve celebrations, you may like to relax and recover on one of Sydney’s beautiful beaches. Bondi is always popular on New Year’s Day, but the delights of nearby Bronte and Coogee shouldn’t be overlooked. On the North Shore, beaches like Manly and Freshwater Beach are definitely worth a visit too.

Exploring Sydney Harbour by ferry offers breathtaking views of iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Glide across sparkling waters to destinations such as Manly or Taronga Zoo, enjoying the city’s skyline and coastal scenery. All eyes will now be in the SCG for the 5th and final Test Match of the 2025/26 NRMA Insurance Ashes Series, and you will have your choice of seats reserved so that you don’t miss any of the action.

To explore beyond the city join this small group tour to the beautiful eucalyptus covered Blue Mountains, just an hour from Sydney.

Your guided tour will take in the famous Three Sisters rock formation as well as the chance to ride the Scenic Cableway and the world’s steepest railway. There is even a visit to Sydney zoo and free time at Leura to complete your day.
