Arrive into Perth for the start of the hugely anticipated 2025/26 NRMA Insurance Ashes Series.

Spend a couple of days at leisure getting your bearings and exploring this amazing city. You can choose to stroll along the banks of the Swan River, sample some of the best food in Australia, and take in the spectacular elevated views from the Botanic Gardens in Kings Park.

The 1st NRMA Insurance Ashes Test Match begins at the new Optus Stadium in Perth. We have secured you official tickets for all five days, alongside your choice of hotel accommodation in the city.

You can make the Test Match extra special by attending the official pre-match event, where past cricketers will give a flavour of what it is like to play in an Ashes Test, and preview what to expect over the next few days.

Relax after the Test Match with an optional tour to the beautiful Rottnest Island.

Begin by boarding the passenger ferry at Barrack Street Jetty. After a 45 minute crossing you will arrive on this picturesque island, where secluded bays, crystal clear waters and the resident furry quokkas await.

Your Island Discovery coach will take you to the best viewpoints, and historical points of interest during a 90-minute tour.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, followed by some free time to walk to the lighthouse, photograph some Quokkas, or relax on the beach, before boarding your return ferry back to Perth.

Before the next Test Match there is time to explore a little more of Australia. Begin by flying from Perth to Adelaide, the gateway to South Australia. The city of Adelaide offers a rich mixture of culture and nature, as well as fine food and wine.

Delight the senses at the Adelaide Central Market, or venture to the famous Adelaide Oval, the venue for the 3rd Test Match to take a guided tour of the stadium. For those with a sense of adventure, and a head for heights, take in the ground from the roof on a guided rooftop tour that provides amazing panoramic views of the city, and an amazing vantage point to hear sporting and historical tales of past and present events held within its walls.

Kangaroo Island, located just off the coast of South Australia, is one of Australia’s most famous and picturesque natural destinations. The island is renowned for its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and pristine beaches.

Discover the highlights of Kangaroo Island on a two-day guided experience which will ensure you see the wildlife of Flinders Chase National Park, the tranquil clear waters of Vivonne Bay and the famous residents of Seal Bay.

Return coach and ferry transfers from Adelaide and overnight accommodation on the island are all included, and you will return to Adelaide after your time on the island for a night’s stay before your onward flight to Queensland.

Return to Adelaide airport and fly up to Brisbane, the capital of Queensland and the host city for the 2nd NRMA Insurance Ashes Test Match.

On arrival into Brisbane, rather than head straight into the city, collect your pre-booked rental car and head straight to the beach! The coastal resort town of Mooloolaba is perfect for a relaxing two-night beachside stay. The beaches around Mooloolaba are known for their pristine sands, clear waters, and relaxed atmosphere, making them perfect for swimming, surfing, and enjoying the coastal beauty of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Departing the stunning sands of Mooloolaba may be difficult, but the 2nd NRMA Insurance Ashes Test Match will be starting soon at the Gabba in Brisbane.

As you drive south towards Brisbane there is still time to visit the stunning Glass House Mountains in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Here you can follow some of the many trails that lead through the forests and up the mountains, giving spectacular panoramic views back to the coast.

In the afternoon, return your rental car and check-in to your chosen hotel in the centre of Brisbane. The rest of the day is free to explore the city, perhaps taking a wander along the South Bank, or crossing the Storey Bridge to the Howard Smith Wharves, where there are many bars and restaurants, perfect for a pre-Test match meal.

You could choose to begin your Test Match experience with lunch at the official pre-test Match function, at the Rydges Hotel on the South Bank. You will be joined by special guests and some cricketing greats to preview the Brisbane Test Match. A coach will then transfer you to the stadium ready for the start of play.

The historic Gabba Stadium will be hosting the only Day/Night Test Match of the NRMA Insurance Ashes Series, and England will be hoping to gain a crucial victory at a venue which has not seen Australia beaten since 1988 – could this be the year?
