A government imposed tax is payable on all diesel vehicles in New Zealand. The amount is calculated per 100km travelled. Your 6 berth motorhome will be charged locally on return at a rate of $8.04 per 100km.

You can pick up your camper from Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown.

There is a $200 fee for all pickup and drop-offs from Queenstown.

Motorhomes can be taken on the Interisland Ferry (a charge will apply).

Please ask your New Zealand Expert if you would like to pre-book any of these optional extras before you travel:

• Excess reduction from $7500 to nil
• Extra driver fees (usually $2 per day)
• Picnic table & chairs
