Founded in 1996, Fraser River Lodge is a luxury, dog-friendly, wilderness and fishing resort in British Columbia. Today, this resort sits on the banks of the Fraser River near the farming community of Agassiz, British Columbia, where Mount Cheam and the Cascade Mountain Range create an idyllic backdrop. Resting on the Traditional and Unceded Territory of S’ólh Téméxw, home of the Stóō people, Fraser River Lodge was acquired by the Cheam First Nation in 2024, and in 2026, the resort was officially recognised by Indigenous Tourism BC with its ‘Authentic Indigenous’ designation.
Home to a herd of wild bison, this private Canadian resort is located in the Fraser Valley, one hour from Vancouver and ten minutes from Harrison Hot Springs. Guests can enjoy a host of activities and experiences, including wilderness fishing, Indigenous guided grounding meditations, axe throwing, and pottery painting, before venturing off to explore the nearby alpine valleys.
