We recommend getting up early to view sunrise at Mather Point, one of the most iconic viewpoints on the South Rim. Watch as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the canyon, painting it with vibrant colours. You can always enjoy a hearty breakfast afterwards at El Tovar, a historic lodge known for its rustic charm and panoramic views of the canyon.
