Day 4 – Hawaii (Big Island)
Today, fly from O’ahu to the Island of Hawaii, more commonly known as Big Island, being the largest in the archipelago. Big Island has various types of climate zones, from the stark Ka’u Desert, formed of lava rock and volcanic ash, to the tropical rainforests of Hilo.
Most of the population live in West Hawaii and it is here, in the town of Kailua-Kona, that your Big Island adventure begins. Sport fishing, snorkelling, sunsets and coffee are all on the menu, the latter cultivated on the slopes of Mount Hualalai. With the mountains blocking the north easterly trade winds, Kailua-Kona typically enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year and very little rain.

Day 5 – Kailua Kona & Saddle Road
Kick off an another day in Kailua-Kona with another locally grown brew. The town’s quiet beaches are perfect for sunbathing and snorkelling, as well as a great spot to see turtles. For souvenirs, take a stroll down Ali’i Drive, there’s plenty of choice.
Do remember to leave time to explore the beautiful landscapes of Big Island. A scenic drive along Saddle Road is highly recommended, for breathtaking views.
