Description
Just 10 km from the city centre, is Kenya’s oldest National Park, home to over 500 varieties of birds and more than 100 species of mammal. Established around 1946, it’s a real contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city.
Your half day safari includes an afternoon game drive, on which there’s a great chance to see zebra, giraffe, buffalo, ostrich, gazelle, eland, hippo, vulture and lion, as well as a guided walk along a raised boardwalk, with expert insight from your guide about the different ecosystems and habitats in the park.
Nairobi National Park is also home to an important population of endangered black rhino that whilst not spotted on every visit, offer a quite unique photo opportunity against the backdrop of the city skyline.
