The woodlands and grassy shoreline are home to herds of elephants, buffalo and antelope, whilst the big cats and other predators roam the area. The lake is renowned for some of Africa’s most iconic sunsets with the protruding branches of partially submerged trees providing perches for fish eagles.

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities each day including 4WD game drives or boat trips on the lake to seek out hippos, crocodiles and the prolific birdlife. Alternatively, guided walking safaris explore the shoreline and elephant trails. There is an elevated infinity swimming pool taking in the lake vistas and a sandy beach in front of the camp where drinks can be enjoyed around a campfire.

Your stay at Changa Safari Camp includes two game activities daily.

Luxury en suite tents have a veranda overlooking the lake, with an indoor and outdoor bathroom and fans.
