Day 4 to 6 – Matopos National Park
Today, transfer to Amalinda Lodge, located in fascinating Matopos National Park. The local Ndebele people gave the area its name, meaning ‘Bald Heads’ on account of the beautiful landscape with its huge granite boulders that seemingly balance on top of each other.
The Park is one of the last bastions of both the black and white rhino and tracking them as well as other wildlife by vehicle or foot is included in your stay. There are also trips to explore the caves with their 2,000 year old San rock art and Worlds View, a scenic viewpoint where Cecil Rhodes is buried. You will also have the opportunity to experience the local hospitality of the people on cycling trips through the villages.
