Depart Kuala Lumpur this morning for the journey north towards the rolling tea plantations in the Cameron Highlands. Watch local life pass by as you drive through small towns and villages, slowly climbing in elevation. After checking in to your room, the rest of the day will be at leisure enjoying the area.

Today you will be met by an experienced local guide to show you some of the highlights the Cameron Highlands has to offer.

First stop will be Gunung Brinchang, the highest peak in the Cameron Highlands. Translated into English, the Malay word “Gunung” means Mountain and “Brinchang” means strong winds. The drive to the top affords panoramic views of the mountain forests and surrounding areas. After a short walk through the Mossy forest to discover pitcher plants, orchids, ferns, spices and medicinal plants, drive down the mountain through beautiful tea plantations. After a guided tour of the processing factory at the BOH Tea House there is some free time at the fine ‘Tea House’ that offers varieties of tea.

After lunch, you’ll get to visit the popular Rose garden and the fascinating Butterfly Farm before returning to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Head out for a walk, or enjoy the hotel’s facilities.
