Built in 1972, Chobe Game Lodge is one of Africa’s historic luxury safari lodges, and has welcomed celebrities over the years. Couples, families and honeymooners all enjoy the unique position within the National Park, and the relative tranquility away form the busier Kasane area.

Making full use of the prime river frontage is a 250m elevated boardwalk offering an excellent place to watch the ever-changing wildlife parade across the river, islands and floodplains. Morning and afternoon game drives are conducted by expert guides in open-sided 4WD vehicles to ensure maximum visibility of the park’s abundant wildlife, whilst almost silent solar powered boats offer close encounters near the shoreline.

Delicious cuisine is enjoyed in the open sided restaurant or, some nights, barbecues are taken under the star-lit sky at the riverside boma. There is also a swimming pool for those relaxing moments in between game viewing.

There are 44 rooms in total, all with en suite bathrooms, private patio or balcony, air conditioning and complimentary minibar. Upgrade to a Suite which are on the first floor with a large outdoor deck and plunge pool.
