About Your Hotel
One of the early pioneers of safaris in the Okavango, Gunn’s is located in a small private reserve overlooking Chief’s Island. Set on raised platforms to capture those beautiful delta views, the lodge has been built to blend in with its surroundings.
The tents are reached by wooden walkways that cross the wetlands, magically lit at night. Each day enjoy the tranquillity of a Mokoro trip gliding through the waterways, the peace occasionally interrupted by a hippo splashing or an eagle fishing or hop a shore for a bush walk and get much closer to nature. When water levels are low, 4WD game drives will replace one of the water activities to allow a different way of seeking out the Okavango’s excellent game.
